Hoshu Takada Clan are a family of sword smiths that flourished in Ooita prefecture. They were known to sign their Tang as “Taira” at first so were called Taira Takada blades but started using the Fujiwara name later on, now we generally call them Fujiwara Takada. The blades that they produce are known for their practicality in battle so they were highly rated by many warlords.
Even among Takada family , Nagamori Smith was known as a master craftsmen. He has left many valuable blades to be passed on. Many of them are certified as Jyuyo Token (important work) by NBTHK .
I wish i could make the sword with these artsians,it would be a great experience.
